Cause Description:
The Harnett County Aquatic Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of aquatics and competitive swimming in the surrounding area. The HCAC Hurricanes are members of the United States Swimming Association, which is the most widely recognized sanctioning body of amateur swimming in the country. Practices are held at the Campbell University Nathan Johnson Natatorium in Buies Creek, N.C. Over the past year, HCAC swimmers have qualified for and have won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the North Carolina State Championships, the Junior Olympics, the North Carolina State Games, the East Coast Swim League Championships, the Southeastern Zone Championships, and the Southeastern Junior National Championship.
