Cause Description:
I am single mom w/2kids. I am sure my story not quite as devistating as most but I figure why not humble myself and at least try. My request comes from a loss in my own funds for vehicle purchase recently and am at my wits end to find a car. I had my best friend cash another friend of a friends check. "I understand the cost of check cashing when low income and have my best friend cash mine. I choose not to have a checking account due to previous failed attempts to try it. It was a Government check and assumed no one so dumb to risk prison for under a thousand dollars. Well I was wrong the check was stolen and i bounced. (to keep my promise?) I covered the check for my best friend as I promised. It took my entire saved car funds & then some. It will take over another year to save this again. I am waiting for approval of SSI and am very low income now. I need the car to transport my kids to school, go to DRs. appt. groceries etc.. I hope U see my need not as drastic but just as important and that maybe even today one good turn deserves another. I would also love this opportunity to teach the good in doing the right thing can accomplish to my kids. I humbly ask your help and THANK YOU for all you do not for me and my family but for all of us. Even if I am pasted up I also THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION OF MY FAMILY FOR YOUR HELP.It truly is APPRECIATED. P.S. If anything I can pay $25-$35 a month for a car in payments.. I am willing to pay for a car and not just recieve it for free. PLEASE HELP. I DID THE FOOT WORK NOW ITS LEFT TO GOD. THANKS BETSY, DEVIN, JAMEE (our family)
