"Building Self-Esteem Through Life Skills. Changing Lives One Girls At A Time" The Corner4Success Charitable Foundation was formed November 3, 2004. The first program under the Foundation's umbrella is the "C4S G.I.R.L.S. Club". Their acronym represents the principles young women need today: G0ALS - INTEGRITY - RESPECT - LEADERSHIP - SELF-ESTEEM The Corner4Success (C4S) G.I.R.L.S. Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth organization committed to providing programs and services which empower girls at risk by providing a variety of quality educational tools, activities and unique experiences. Our network of associates and programs will promote healing, empowerment and unification to a common goal - that of building self and the community. While young males are more likely to join gangs and eventually evolve to more violent crimes, young females can are more often victims of low self-esteem, sexual abuse, and may eventually fall prey to domestic violence as a result of low self worth. The objective of the C4S G.I.R.L.S. Club is to teach, mentor and empower young women to become viable, successful adults.
