Cause Description:
The Rider Relief Fund and Rider Relief Resources are 501 (c)(3) charities pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code of the United States. Contributions are limited to the maximum permitted by law. In 1999, the Rider Relief Fund was created when Resistol pledged over $1 million dollars over ten years to start the non-profit organization. The Rider Relief Fund benefits anyone involved in the sport of bull riding and at all levels. The Rider Relief Fund is available to high school, college and professional bull riders as well as those people who work in the sport of bull riding. The Rider Relief Fund started granting assistance to those injured in bull riding in 2000. We have distributed over $1,000,000 to bull riders of all ages, to their families, and to personnel involved in the sport of bull riding.
