Piece by Piece’s mission is to empower the homeless and low income residents in the disadvantaged communities of Los Angeles through micro-enterprise and mosaic art. We provide free workshops, teaching marketable skills to create high quality works of mosaic art. All workshops and materials, with an emphasis on recyclable items, are provided free of charge in a supportive environment and instructed by professional artists. Proceeds from the sale of the art are given back to the artist participants with the goal that such income earned will create self-confidence, encourage entrepreneurship and promote self-reliance.
