THOMAS CIRCLE SINGERS The Thomas Circle Singers is a chamber choral ensemble with dual mission: to perform diverse choral works for the enjoyment of audiences in the Washington, D.C. area and to raise awareness and funds for organizations that address the pressing needs of the city’s underserved citizens. Since 1976, TCS has filled this unique niche, enriching the quality of life in Washington- area residents by offering superb performances of choral classics and new works by living composers, while contributing to the life of the community by donating concert proceeds to DC-based social service organizations. For over three decades, TCS concerts have raised funds and awareness for organizations serving the homeless and hungry, children, seniors and families at risk, the sick, and victims of violence in Washington, DC. The organization donates concert ticket proceeds to nonprofit organizations every year, TCS has raised $100,000 for causes in the last six years. Recent concert beneficiaries include Life Pieces to Masterpieces, WVSA arts connection, Green Door, Transitional Housing Corporation, Community Family Life Services, For Love of Children, Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care, and many more.
