Cause Description:
Kids of America’s Heroes is an Elementary School and Middles School educational program that focuses on military children nationwide who have parents who are deployed, on a remote tour, on extended or short-term temporary duty (TDY). The mission of the KOAH Program provides a fun, interactive, and socially connected group for military children in a positive and encouraging environment. KOAH works specifically with military, government, and educational related institutes to provide activities, arts, crafts, and entertainment for the children and workshops for the military and dependent parents. Currently KOAH is a once a month school program that takes place in the local school cafeterias. KOAH provides activities, arts, crafts, and entertainment for military children in an educational setting while providing workshops and resources for the military and dependent parents. The workshops will consist of family separation assistance, resources, and guides.
