Cause Description:
The D’Feeters Soccer Club is the only all-girls club that has one team per age group. We are a ranked in the top 15 soccer clubs in America. This program is designed to help offset the costs of coaching and operational fees. D’Feeters Soccer Club is a non-profit 501(c) (3) and Best-in-Class organization dedicated to providing player and team development in a positive learning environment. Our programs are intended to reinforce character growth and good sportsmanship as well as prepare our players for competition at their highest potential level, including collegiate, professional, and national team play. COMMUNITY SERVICE - The D’Feeters ’96 team participates in a number of community service projects. They have assisted at the USYS Southern Regional Championships, North Texas Soccer Association (NTSSA) tournaments and assist with special projects for the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League. LEADERSHIP - Their community service hours do not stop at soccer-related activities. A number of the girls are members of their school-sponsored community outreach clubs (Junior Light Brigade) and church-sponsored programs and projects. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT - They also excel in the classroom. Several are involved in the National Junior Honor Society and participate in the DUKE TIP program. Portions of our proceeds are dontated to various animal shelters across the DFW area. Our girls also do volunteer work at multiple out reach programs in the area.
