Cause Description:
M.A.D.D. is a national organization with local offices, whose mission is to educate the public regarding the effects of driving under the influence of alcohol. They do public speaking, Victim Impact Panels for courts to sentence offenders to attend, and as much of a public awareness campaign as they can, due to limited funds. Many of the members are families who have lost a loved one through the actions of a drunk driver. M.A.D.D. has been given national awards in Washington for the work they do. They have been in existence for at least 20 years.
