Joyful Noise, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1991 which administers the activities, performances and tours of the regional children's choir, Chorus Angelicus, and the adult vocal ensemble, Gaudeamus. The mission statement of Joyful Noise is threefold. The First purpose is to develop and nurture in singers of all ages a passion for choral singing and the ability to achieve the highest standards of artistic accomplishment. Secondly, the children and adult choirs of Joyful Noise each year present a series of outstanding concerts featuring a wide spectrum of music, from the classics of choral literature to contemporary and original compositions. Finally, the extraordinary quality of these choirs' collective artistry enriches not only the singers, but also the communities for whom they perform, through the beauty and power of choral music.
