RSD-CRPS Lifesavers is a nonprofit (501c3) organization committed to raising awareness of the disabling and progressive sympathetic nervous system disorder called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Approximately 1.5-6 million sufferers of this rare disorder can be found in the United States alone (exceeding those with breast cancer, HIV/AIDS and multiple sclerosis combined” - www.forgrace.org), with 50,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Despite the number of patients, many doctors have never heard of RSD/CRPS and few have successfully treated it. The millions that are afflicted with this disease suffer constantly and daily from relentless pain for which there are few, if any, effective treatments.
