Cause Description:
This charity was formed by two mothers whose children were the victims of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Both children were shaken by their day care provider at the age of six months. Both sustained serious head injuries requiring surgery, and retinal bleeds. One also received two broken legs, broken ribs, and internal bruising. Since then, we have dedicated our lives to promoting prevention through education, and also to support those who may be going through or have already experienced this awful tragedy. Moneys donated will be used for educational materials, the implementation of outreach programs, and for postage (to mail requested materials to victims). Please find it in your heart to help everyone in the world to know that IT IS NEVER OK TO SHAKE A BABY. Our children are our heros and inspiration, so are those of you who choose to donate to this and other child oriented organizations.
