Independence Heights is a grass roots organization dedicated to helping teens and young adults with developmental disabilities to become fully integrated members of the community. Our vision is one of systemic change where instead of being hidden away, they are embraced by the community at large. We will focus on their unique talents and caring hearts, not on their disabilities. We will achieve this goal facilitating supported living and work options and by creating circles of support. A circle of support is where a micro board is formed with one individual and his/her needs is the focus of the groups existence.
