Cause Description:
We are a Southern California nonprofit horse rescue organization and adoption services that rescues, cares for and finds new homes for horses that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. We serve Ventura County, Calif. and many other areas of California when called upon. We are an all-volunteer agency; no paid staff. We have programs for at-risk children to work one-on-one with the horses, and also promote community education and awareness of humane animal treatment and welfare.
