The Open Door Children's Home is a residential facility that provides emergency and extended care for children from birth to 18 years of age. Children are placed in the home because of neglect, abandonment, sexual abuse, physical abuse, lack of supervision, lack of appropriate living arrangements or the absence of parents through illness, death, or incarceration. The Home provides a safe, warm and loving environment for these children and strives to help each child reach his or her potential and to give them the guidance and support to live a healthier, happier, and more productive life.
