Cause Description:
Griffith Tutoring is a non-profit organization preparing underprivileged students for the ACT. By partnering with young professionals to tutor the students and implement the Griffith curriculum, Griffith Tutoring is able to offer a free six week program, which maintains a 2-to-1 student to tutor ratio and would normally cost a thousand dollars. Griffith Tutoring’s mission is to increase college attendance in low income neighborhoods by providing private tutoring to the students in these areas who have the desire and ability to succeed in college but do not have the requisite ACT score and cannot afford the private tutoring necessary to improve.
