AS RICHMOND’S OLDEST CHILDCARE CENTER, SCDC's mission is to provide quality and affordable childcare services and preschool education for children of working parents. For the past 77 years, they have offered an oasis for the children of working poor Richmonders. They open their doors each morning so moms and dads can drop off their little ones before they start their workday. They feed them, care for them, and educate them just as they did in 1930 and just as they will continue to do for the next 77 years with your support.
