The Tuolumne River’s grand geography is our lifeblood, tying three of the country’s most important and wonderful regions together; wild Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada; California's Central Valley, the world’s most productive farmland; and the great cosmopolitan San Francisco Bay. We want every person who benefits from the Tuolumne’s water to know that their food was grown from its water, their tap water comes from it, their wild salmon were hatched in its gravels, and their backpacking, fishing and rafting trip depends on its health. The Tuolumne River Trust is the voice for the river. We are protecting a world class river, ensuring that it is healthy and vibrant, teeming with fish and wildlife. We are committed to preserving its beauty, wildness and majesty, nurturing the lives that depend on it, restoring its sacred salmon runs and holding it safely in trust as a refuge for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. The Tuolumne River Trust works as an advocate and coalition builder to protect the Tuolumne River and its tributaries for generations to come.
