The Deaf Shalom Zone, Inc.’s mission is to meet the basic unmet needs of the culturally Deaf and Deaf/Blind community in the Baltimore metropolitan area. In addition to being Deaf the community we serve is extremely low income and many are afflicted with several other health issues including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, mental retardation, Cerebral Palsy, learning disabled, and emotionally disabled.
