From the Heart, Inc. was establish in 2001, we are a small agency providing care for adults with Mental Retardation living in the community. We are located in Gwinnett and Dekalb Counties presently with three homes and Day-Program Services for our residents, who we consider our extended family of friends. We are community based and provide supports to meet the needs individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. To be happy, people need to feel like they have some control of what happens to them, like making choices, sharing places and developing relationships. We offer people with special needs opportunity to live as independently as possible, develop relationships and live in the community with security and supports.
