Cause Description:
Bootup.Disabled.Resources accepts computers, computer equipment and software for re-distribution to others in the community who are disadvantaged in any way, including children, senior citizens, welfare mothers, or folks who are disabled. We are a 501 (c)3 corporation, which means that any contributions can be applied to IRS tax for credit. Bootup is completely volunteer oriented, and its purpose, besides distributing equipment, is also to teach recipients how to use it. Therefor, our strong focus on education is an important part of the program. Our "each one teach one" motto encourages recipients --as much as they are able-- to reach out to others and volunteer their time as part of the program.
