Cause Description:
Founded in 1887 by the Episcopal Sisters of St. Mary, the agency works in the best interests of the children we serve. Our dedicated counselors provide preparation and placement services to families pursuing domestic infant adoption, as well as counsel women experiencing unplanned pregnancies who are considering adoption. We help both birth and adoptive families before, during and after placement. St. Mary's also facilitates home study and post placement services for international adoptions. Funding would support the agency's work in many ways, including our work with women experiencing unplanned pregnancies and special-needs infants.
