Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas, formerly known as Bexar Land Trust, Inc., is a local environmental organization in San Antonio, Texas. As non-profit organization, we are dedicated to sustaining our natural environment and enhancing urban spaces through land conservation, community engagement, and education. Green Spaces serves the community by keeping South Texas green. With the help of board, members, staff, and corporate and community volunteers, Green Spaces: -Preserves large parcels of land to protect the Edwards Aquifer, San Antonio’s main source for drinking water -Fosters community gardens throughout San Antonio, with focus in low-income communities -Educates the public about the importance of our environment
