Cause Description:
Happy Tails Rescue was founded in January 2005. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. We are a no-kill rescue consisting of a small group of unpaid volunteers who are trying to contribute by finding good, loving homes for the many homeless animals out there. Along with most rescue groups, we believe there is an enormous problem (not only in the state of Minnesota, but in our country) with pet overpopulation. We only adopt within 60 miles of the twin cities and do not adopt out of the state of Minnesota due to our home visit requirement. Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter of our cats and dogs, current on vaccinations, tested for heartworm/feline leukemia and microchip of age appropriate dogs. We foster all of our dogs and live with them in our homes as if they were our own companions.
