The Agahozo Shalom Youth Village- "Life disrupted, life restored" The Agahozo Shalom Youth Village will restore the 'rhythm of life' for orphans suffering from the devestating aftermath of Rwanda's genocide by providing a holistic response to the needs of these traumatized children. Youth will get a second chance in life through the provision of a supportive and nurturing home environment, a stimulating and challenging education and healing individual and group therapies. The Village will provide the parental wholeness that these children have lost and inspire them with the values of community spirit and social responsibility so they have the tools to help rebuild their lives and their country long after they have graduated.
