Cause Description:
MOMS Club is an international non-profit organization with approximately 300 chapters around the world. Its purpose is to encourage, educate and enrich the lives of stay-at-home moms. The Southwest Fort Worth chapter has approximately 70 members; all are mothers who have elected to stay at home with their children. This chapter participates in several service projects each year that directly benefit mothers and children in need. The Ronald McDonald House, Edna Gladney Home, Women's Haven, and local maternity and pediatric units are among some of the organizations that have directly benefitted from MOMS Club of Southwest Fort Worth's efforts. As with all MOMS Club chapters, fundraisers are essential to the group's ability to help the community.
