“Pursuing Sexual Health and Wholeness in Our Community” The Spokane Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families is a grassroots nonprofit organization whose goal is to empower concerned citizens and community leaders to significantly reduce sexual abuse, violence, and exploitation in the Pacific Northwest by... -increasing public awareness of the reality and prevalence of sexual abuse and violence linked to pornography, and the secondary harmful effects, particularly in the lives of children; -supporting the enactment and enforcement, within the Constitution, of limitations on pornography; -and offering assistance to people whose lives have been harmed by sexual abuse and pornography. Our Mission Statement presents: - our objective — to significantly reduce sexual exploitation and violence; - our role — to empower concerned citizens and community leaders; - and our strategies — education, legislation, and victim assistance.
