Amherst Early Music is the largest teaching early music festival in North America. We bring together an international faculty of leading teachers and performers of early music with amateur and pre-professional students to run classes and perform concerts. Our largest event is the Amherst Early Music Festival, held annually in New London, Connecticut for two weeks in July. We also offer three smaller annual weekend workshops in New York and Philadelphia. Amherst Early Music, Inc. is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization registered in the state of Massachusetts.
