The mission of the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County is to protect children. We do this by providing a safe environment for the evaluation of child abuse and exploitation, coordinating services to victims and families and preventing future abuse through community education. Our goals are: " To create a neutral place where interviews and services for abused children are provided " To prevent trauma to a child caused by multiple contacts with various community professionals " To communicate and coordinate our efforts with other community agencies.
