The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is a premier national historic site that fosters an appreciation for the unique heritage of the carrousel, band organ and amusement device industries for people of all ages. The museum is the only carousel museum housed in its original factory  where it was originally constructed. It is due to this unique and exceptional historical detail that this factory complex and its beloved #1 Special Carousel both are on the list of New York State and National Registers of Historic Landmarks!
