Cause Description:
choiceHUMANITARIAN is a non-profit, volunteer organization comprised of people who feel a sense of commitment to help indigenous people of the developing world. choiceHUMANITARIAN specializes in manpower, materials, appropriate technology, and education. Expeditions are generally 10 to 20 days in length. Volunteers work side-by-side with Third World villagers on specific projects the villagers need, want, and will be able to sustain after choice participants depart. Some of the projects include building schoolhouses, health posts, greenhouses, wells, pumps, and water cisterns. choiceHUMANITARIAN also provides training in literacy, health care, agriculture, and small-scale enterprises.
