Cause Description:
The DeKalb Academy of Technology & the Environment, a K-7th charter school located in Lithonia, Georgia was established in 2005 by a small community of concerned parents, committed students, faculty and staff. In our quest to raise servant leaders and good citizens, we are committed to developing and providing our children with a quality, challenging and nurturing educational experience. Due to limited state and federal funding our school, consisting of dedicated parents, and the community at-large must raise an annual amount of $50,000 to assist in the ongoing development of our much needed resource.....OUR CHILDREN. Here at D.A.T.E we are Learning with Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor!
