H.O.P.E. is focused on the prevention and awareness of eating disorders. The organization strives to educate all age groups on the warning signs, symptoms and side effects that accompany eating disorders. H.O.P.E. works to provide funding for treatment for those who cannot afford it. H.O.P.E. works to raise awareness of the serious emotional and physical problems that can have life-threatening consequences for both males and females. H.O.P.E. is a member of NEDA, the National Eating Disorders Association and the EDC, Eating Disorders Coalition and supports all other advocacy groups and organizations with the same values and efforts to aid in this cause.
