But..."Acceptance by family friends and the general population is the biggest obstacle facing interracial couples and their children"--Kids Magazine, April 1998. This is why this 501c(3)nonprofit organization was formed. As a multiethnic person I understand the obstacles these families face. I also noticed the lack of organizations and books that talk about and help those who are of mixed ethnicity.
