Cause Description:
We are the longest running youth band in the United States. We we're established in 1942 as a non-profit corporation at that time. We serve youth ages 8-22 by providing a musical and marching experience. The T.A.Y.B. has traveled all over the Continental United States and Hawaii, as well as Canada. We are currently the City of Torrance's Sesqucenntinel offical host band. We will be representing the City in numerous functions during the celebration of California's entrance of Statehood and the gold rush period. This is a 3 year celebration. We rely heavily on donations and fund raising. We keep tuition to a minimum $7-$10 per month to keep it affordable to our students.
