The Junior League of Boise, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Current projects include: Kids in Care - A program supporting foster families. Especially Me! - A self-esteem program for pre-teen girls. Junior Leagues' Kids in the Kitchen - A program focusing on childhood obesity, health and fitness. Impact Boise - Done in a day projects to support and meet short-term needs of the community in cooperation with other local nonprofit organizations.
