OPTIC's vision is that every person who wants to work will be able to get a job that supports them and their family. Our mission is to provide low-income Contra Costa residents with the technology, literacy and life skills that will enable them to become self-sufficient. We run two main programs: an intensive, full-time job training program that prepares participants for well-paying administrative careers, and an evening drop-in program that provides Internet access and class in Computer Basics and English as a Second Language.
