CANTER saves unwanted Thoroughbreds that are not fast enough to win or become injured by providing rehab, vet, farrier care, surgery when necessary, retraining for a new career and adoption into CANTER-approved non-race homes. Horses advertised on website, Facebook: CANTER MI, Twitter @CANTERMichigan and Instagram: @canter_michigan. CANTER has no paid staff. All revenue is spent to transition thoroughbreds into new homes and careers.
