The Bromfield Street Educational Foundation is a queer progressive organization in existence for over 25 years. BSEF operates fives major programs: 1) Gay Community News, a quarterly journal of thought from the gay left; 2) OutWrite, the national g/l/b/t writers conference; 3) Off the Page, a reading series for queer authors; 4) Queer Progressive Organizing School, a network-buiding and training ground for queer activists; and 5) Prisoner Project, an effort to provide copies of Gay Community News and other information to incerated queers.
