Carla Bluntschli is a co-founder of the N a Sonje Foundation as well as its primary coordinator for over 14 years. N a Sonje means - we will remember - a simple Creole phrase that expresses the idea of remembering by experiencing the deeper truths and realities of our mutual histories that can transform and heal our collective selves and planet while being caressed in the arms of Mama Ayiti. Our mission began in 2010 with hosting visitors to Ayiti, in 2021 added working to transform the earth with N a Sonje Vèt and since 2023 hosts a podcast program bringing the everyday voices of Hait to the English speaking world named "We Will Remember Haiti - In Their Voice" on Spotify. Now since 2024 the work has relocated to the north of Haiti due to the insecurity problems in the capital to continue the work of transformation of ourselves, our mutual humanities as well as the environment.
