Cause Description:
Respite Care Referral Service (RCRS) serves as a liaison between caregivers seeking non-medical respite care and individuals over 50 who are interested in providing relief for the caregivers of individuals 60 and above. RCRS screens and trains potential respite care providers prior to the referral. Several eligible providers are then referred to a caregiver. The goal of the program is to appropriately match a respite care provider to a family caring for a homebound senior that needs some relief.
