Cause Description:
The mission is to send children with Mitochondrial/Metablolic disorders a gift, to enjoy, creat memories, and affirm they are special while providing support to the families caring for them. These children affected by such horrible illnesses bring so much light into the world. Eli's Angels is to give them something along their journey. Mainly the function is to distribute childrens books to these kiddos. Many have mutiple disabilities and reading is a time when the problems they have vanish. Reading provides a time to bond with a parent or caregiver and it also provides a story in which to escape through.
