Cause Description:
The mission of Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center is to improve the economic and social conditions of youth and adult residents of Allegheny County by providing workforce development in the form of job readiness training, career counseling and job placements. The ENEC provides a variety of employment services. These include: · enrollment with the PA CareerLink system · client analysis and counseling · job development assistance · computer and Internet skill development · financial literacy workshops · job placement · recruiting for local businesses · ENEC’s network of partners includes providers of services such as childcare, transportation, housing, health concerns, education assistance, drug and alcohol counseling, and clothing.
