HEAL. GROW. BE WILD. This is the mission of the Howell Nature Center in a nutshell. Our Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic treats 2,300 injured and orphaned creatures each year and operates Livingston County, Michigan's only zoo. Inhabitants of the zoo are all permanently injured wildlife that rely on our care for their survival. In return, they help us teach the public about coexisting with wildlife. Our specialization in raptors, or birds of prey, requires specialized feed and care. Help us help the animals!
