Cause Description:
Spay Neuter Assistance Program provides low-cost spay/neuter vouchers to low-income pet owners. SNAP collaborates with more than 30 veterinarians who offer discounted prices when honoring SNAP's spay/neuter certificates. Pet owners pay a small fee, and SNAP volunteers raise funds to subsidize the remaining cost of the surgeries. As of December 6, 2004, we have facilitated more than 5,300 spay/neuter surgeries in the Ozarks. We are an all-volunteer organization.
