Cause Description:
The Elaine’s Foundation for Homeless Felines is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, which is committed to taking care of homeless pets in the state of New Jersey. We want to educate residents and local public officials about the Trap/Neuter and Return (TNR) Program and inform residents about the low cost spay/neuter program available throughout the sate and teach them how to take care of the feral cats. Our first project is to manage and control the overpopulation of feral cats. We want to raise money to spay/neuter and release feral cats and relocate their colonies from unsafe areas. We’ll focus our efforts on feeding, cleaning and finding homes for adoptable kittens and cats. Our long-term goal is to purchase land so that we build a sanctuary to relocate the cats’ colonies. Meanwhile we will seek help from the urban areas in the sate of NJ to provide safe territories for the colonies. In the future we plan to work with dogs and other animals. All the money received will be strictly used for the welfare of the animals.
