Cause Description:
The Soup Kitchen served over 54,000 free meals last year to the hungry of the Upper Ohio Valley. The Soup Kitchen offers a hot, delicious meal six days a week as well as a take home bagged lunch. Anyone who walks in gets served, there is no process to go through. We are an interfaith ministry that is volunteer based and community funded. We believe in nourishing not only the body but also the soul, offering a clean environment, wholesome food and a place to meet with others while sharing a meal. We also have implemented an Emergency Food Service in which we provide iommediate relief to those in dire need. The Soup Kitchen is soon to be 22 years old!
