Cause Description:
The Baobab Home’s Mission is to provide nutritious food, housing, clothing, medical care and love to orphaned and abandoned babies in the Tanzania Coast region, as is their right. We will do this in a safe and comfortable environment that stimulates creativity and early learning. We will reunify children with willing and able family members whenever possible, or find foster or adoptive families when reunification is not possible. We have also created the village’s first lending library and sponsor activities for neighborhood children to encourage reading and responsibility. We will be a 501(c)3 soon!
