Cause Description:
We are a group of caring citizens whose goal is to ruduce the number of unwanted,lost and stray animals euthinized in our county by increasing adoptions and the spay or neutering of pets. The purpose of this organization is to strive to find good homes for stray and unwanted animals. We provide medical care, shots,socialize and spay/neutor as many animals possiable. It is also the goal of the Society to prevent all forms of Cruelty to animals by every legitimate means; to advocate neutering, and to educate the public in matters of animal care. We work in conjunction with the Campbell County Animal Control and Shelter, most of our animals come from there. We serve the Campbell County Area: Altavista Rustburg Gladys Lynch Station Brookneal Lynchburg(rural) Stonewall Evington Concord Brookneal Holiday Forest Thomas Terrace Highland Springs. What your support will Accomplish: Reduction of the number of dogs and cats euthinized Increase adoption rates-finding permanent homes for abandon/unwanted pets. Reduction in number of unwanted pets due to effective spay/neuter program Educating the commmunity about responsible pet ownership Promote Rabies Clinics, to reduce incidence of exposure to rabies in the area, And much more.
