The Global Fund for Women envisions a more just, compassionate and equitable world. Our mission is to advance women and girl's leadership and human rights by providing financial support to grassroots, women-led organizations that work to gain freedom from poverty, violence and discrimination. Since 1987, the Global Fund has provided over $68 million to more than 3,600 grassroots women’s organizations in 167 countries. These initiatives increase women and girl's access to educational and economic opportunities, advance women's health, expand women's political participation and strive to end violence against women and girls.
